Austin Adoption Day

Austin Adoption Day was held on November 5, 2016 at the Gardner Betts Juvenile Center in Austin, TX. 44 children were adopted into their forever families and had the opportunity to celebrate with other families at the annual event. The Law Office of Jennifer Cochran was a "lollipop" sponsor of the event and Ms. Cochran attended the festivities, "It was such a pleasure to be there to witness firsthand the families'joy at finally becoming a forever family. Every adoption that I witness, takes me back to the day when I became a mom. I'm so excited about the year ahead and the community's commitment to finding home for the 180+ children waiting for families here in Travis County.

Jennifer Cochran Publishes a Children's Story about Adoption

The Law Office of Jennifer R. Cochran is proud to announce that attorney Jennifer Cochran just published an ebook for children entitled "Who Will Be My Family?" which is exclusively available on

The book is a storybook about adoption in which the Princess, a baby in utero, dreams about the family waiting for her on the outside and the lovely voice who comforts her and tells her all about the world.

"I'm so excited to finally have the book available on Amazon Kindle and especially Kindle Unlimited so that members can download the edition for free. November is National Adoption Awareness Month

November is National Adoption Awareness Month. More than 100,000 children are waiting to be adopted out of foster care. Over 6800 are waiting in Texas.

The Law Office of Jennifer R. Cochran is proud to be a sponsor of the annual conference hosted by Adoption Knowledge Affiliates on November 13,14 as well as Austin Adoption Day on November 5, 2015. The Austin Adoption Day is an event where the adoption of children in foster care in Travis County will be finalized. It's a huge celebration! There's also celebrations in Bastrop, Bell, Williamson, and Comal counties, as well as statewide.
